After graduating with distinction at the University of Bologna, Avvocato Maria Gabriella Maggiora joined the Advocates Board (Ordine degli Avvocati) of Verona in 1992 and in 2001 was admitted to plead before the Court of Cassation and the Higher Courts (Magistrature Superiori) in Rome. She works almost exclusively in administrative law, notably in the following sectors: planning, construction, compulsory purchase of properties, public procurement for works, services and supplies, trade, businesses trading with the public, state property concessions, transparency and anti-corruption in public administration. She also provides consultancy and extra-judicial assistance in addition to regularly representing clients in administrative litigation (Council of State in Rome and Regional Administrative Courts) as well as before the Court of Cassation and the Court of Auditors also in Rome and the Public Water Court. Depending on the circumstances, she represents local authorities such as municipal councils, public economic bodies and other public law bodies, as well as private individuals in their dealing with the public administration (of course, other than those bodies she typically represents).
